Volunteering for INFORMS activities is one of the best ways to build your professional profile, meet potential colleagues and friends, and one of the most pleasing aspects of your membership with INFORMS.

2009 Membership Survey rated "ability to volunteer for INFORMS activities" the second most pleasing product or service offered by INFORMS.

Much of the work of INFORMS is done through volunteers. There are many volunteer opportunities:

• assisting with major INFORMS activities such as organizing and producing meetings and journals,
• serving on committees such as those related to outreach and education, and
• providing content for the INFORMS website.

Activities:

Review our Participation Roadmaps to see which of our activities may suit your time and talents. INFORMS major activities include producing journals holding meetings helping students succeed developing networking and learning opportunties through Communities.

Don't be shy. All levels of experience are neded. After reviewing the Participation Roadmaps for activities, please complete the Activity Volunteer Form.

Does serving on a structured committee serve your needs and personality? INFORMS is always looking for new committee members to learn about and contribute to a functional area of INFORMS.
